About Emma
I
have been practicing yoga for over a decade. Between 1999-2001 I gave
up my life and home to travel around the world for 2 years studying
yoga in different countries and with several teachers.
I have been teaching for 8 years. I am a fully qualified British Wheel of Yoga teacher, a fully trained Ashtanga teacher, I have qualified as a Pranayama teacher and am doing advanced meditation study at present.
I
have spent significant time in retreat, including time in solitary
retreat and became a buddhist in 2003. This continues to inform my
practice and teaching of yoga.
In recent years I have increasingly worked with teachers influenced by Vanda Scaravelli, particularly Peter Blackaby and Chloe Fremantle and my teaching now reflects these interests in mindful movement and breath.
